A traditional country stick, originally used by shepherds to catch members of their flock of sheep. Today their striking shape makes them a popular present; the ideal accessory for a smart country ensemble. Ash wood is an attractive silvery-green colour as well as being very strong; it has been used to make walking sticks for centuries. It is fitted with a 'Combi-spike' ferrule: a rubber ferrule fitted over a metal one so that the stick may be used on both hard and soft ground. Height 135cm (53").
