A distinctive and traditional country walking stick, popular as a present for the active person.  Originally used by shepherds for catching their sheep, its unusual shape means it is a popular country walking stick, particularly beloved by those gathering blackberries (brambles).

Made from coppiced chestnut wood, its overall height is approximately 137cm (54") and it is fitted with a smart metal ferrule.

Item weight is approximately 495g.

CAUTION: shepherd's crooks must not be left or stored in damp conditions because the damp will make the steamed crook spring open.
